The "Association des Familles Lavoie"
received its letters patent
from the government of Quebec
on the 4th October 1996.


Objectives of the Association

  • To bring together all of the Lavoie families of America.
  • To make available the history of its ancestors and their descendants.
  • To facilitate genealogical knowledge to its members.
  • To encourage and organize get togethers among its members.
  • To publicize the works of all Lavoie's to other members.
  • To foster unity among its members and pride in belonging to a great family.
  • To participate in all activities that strengthen family unity.
